Daniel Moriarty is a British documentary and portrait photographer, living in Birmingham. He has recently graduated in
Documentary Photography (BA) from the University of South Wales (formerly Newport) His work explores themes of identity, belonging, and community. Beside making personal documentary work, Dan works as a clinical photographer at University Hospitals Birmingham.
Dan’s
group exhibitions include; Dominoes and Dice, CULTVR (2021), Six Degrees of Separation, Trinity Centre (2022), Change of the Seasons, Meadow Street Community Garden (2023), and Halftone, Shift Gallery (2024) He was also selected for the ‘East Meets West’ programme with Grain Projects and Quad Derby as part of format festival, exhibiting in the group exhibition ‘Overture’ at the Derbion (2025)
